    The only ones I have found (in my size) are the Mizuno's you mentioned and a 3 4 top shoe from 3N2 Boombah seems to be only be producing low-top turf shoes in their new models I have written Boombah customer service to plead with them to continue to produce a 3 4 top turf shoe I hope others in the senior softball community will do the same

    I think Boombah shoes are good but overrated When it comes to buying things like shoes it is better to go to a "brick and mortar" store and try the shoes on before buying It saves on time and shipping costs if the shoes don't fit or feel right

    I have a 4E width foot and have been wearing Boombah Turf Shoes now for eight years Absolutely the mot comfortable show I ever wore The new rage shoes, both turf and trail all shoud be odrdered a 1 2 size up for maximum comfort Just giving you my personal experience You should try a pair before having custom shoes made up

    The last pair (Riot Fades) had the sole separate from the shoe after 4 months Boombah replaced them but I was stuck at the tourney between games with only one option go to the Adidas vendor and buy their turf shoe I actually love them and most likely won't wear the Boombah again since the Adidas are lighter and more comfortable

    I only use New Balance and have seen quite a few players switch over the last couple of years also, their shoes are wide, much more so than Nike or Boombah and their durability is much better than Boombah, Hope this helps

    A pair of Boombah turf shoes cost about $45 + shipping + a sponge insole ($3) so call it $55-60 I'm not totally concerned about the long term health of the shoes as I view them as 'disposable' However, in my use of camp Dry over the past 7-8 years I have not noticed any issues with the laces or the upper elements

    You might find that trail running shoes would work well for you They have significantly more cushioning than most softball shoes and much more stability than standard running shoes I wear Nike Air Alvords They have a cleat almost like a turf shoe
